The picturesque Franschoek valley.

Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschoek is wine country, just an hour from the city ... and you'll get a taste of each!

Unless you have a personal preference we'll drive out past the Taal monument to Paarl and start with a wine and cheese pairing.

From there we'll proceed through the vineyards of the rural countryside, to Stellenbosch, for a wine-tasting at one of the oldest wine farms, with a fascinating story to tell.

We'll provide some advice for lunch; and then on to Franschoek (founded by French Hugenots) for a further wine-tasting on the lawns overlooking the valley and the geological wonder of the folded mountains of sedimentary rock. If we have time, we'll pop in at the Hugenot monument and museum.
