Any and all bookings with Table Mountain Tours are subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. INFORMATION

1.1 Conditions of the natural environment are naturally subject to changes, as is availability of services or suppliers and entrance into national parks, wine estates, restaurants, etc.

1.2 The information provided on this website is therefore provided without any warranty or guarantee.

2. BOOKINGS & FEES

2.1 We DO NOT take bookings for less than two persons. Any booking confirmed for ONE person, will incur the minimum cost for TWO persons; unless confirmed in writing as a condition of your booking.

2.2 Unless explicitly booked as a "PRIVATE TOUR" all our tours are non-exclusive bookings to join a group.

2.3 All bookings must be made and confirmed - at least 12 hours - in advance.

2.4 Fees are not negotiable unless you have booked directly with us and NOT through an agent or through your hotel, concierge or travel desk.

2.5 Where you have booked directly with us, discounts can be negotiated ONLY for groups of FIVE or more.

3. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

3.1 Bookings made more than 3 days (72hrs) in advance MUST be secured with a 25% non-refundable deposit.

3.2 Bookings made less than 3 days (72hrs) before the date/time of your tour, MUST be secured with a 50% non-refundable deposit.

3.3 Balance of payments must be made in full and in cash, on or before the day and starting time of your tour.

3.4 Payments by EFT or secure payment link are accepted, subject to being received and confirmed BEFORE the date and starting time of your tour.

4. CANCELLATIONS

4.1 While we (obviously) won't want to cancel any tour, tours are subject to weather, entrance into parks, availability of services, etc; and thus Table Mountain Tours reserves the right to cancellation without notice.

4.2 In the event that your tour is cancelled by ourselves, you will receive a FULL refund within 72hrs.

4.3 You may cancel your booking, UP TO 72 hours from the date and time of your booking, subject to forfeiture of your deposit but without incurring any additional fees.

4.4 Cancellations within 72hrs of the date and time of your booking, will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

In other words - you forfeit your deposit and we forfeit the balance owing.

4.5 Where a 50% deposit has NOT been received for a booking cancelled within 72hrs of the date/time of your tour, the deposit remains due and owing.

4.6 You will also have the option of rescheduling your tour for an alternative date - subject to availability; and in which case your deposit will be held in lieu of that alternative booking.

4.7 Such deposits will be held up to a maximum of 30 days, during which time you must redeem your deposit by alternative booking.

We are not liable for bad weather ... and neither are you.

4.8 We do NOT cancel tours due to bad weather, UNLESS the bad weather makes the tour manifestly dangerous. In such event, where you have paid in full, you will receive a 50% refund.

4.9 Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point within 15 minutes of the pre-arranged time is regarded as a 'no show', subject to forfeiture of all fees.

5. CAPACITY TO PERFORM ADVENTURE ACTIVITY

5.1 Your participation in any adventure (hiking, abseiling, caving) activity is subject to your level of fitness and capacity to complete the activity, which you are requested to confirm in advance on a scale of "1" to "10".

5.2 Your participation in any adventure activity is also subject to your capacity to tolerate moderate exposure to heights (where applicable); which you are also requested to confirm in advance on a scale of "1" to "10".

5.3 Table Mountain Tours accepts no liability for your failure to perform the activity.

5.4 Table Mountain Tours retains all copyright on any and all images captured and/or recorded by our guides and/or agents during any guided activity; and any images you share with our guides or agents.

6. WHAT'S INCLUDED ... OR NOT

6.1 All tours are led by a fully-qualified, registered and experienced guide, who is able to provide professional advice on routes, duration, distance, technical difficulty, attire, equipment, historic attractions and landmarks.

6.2 Transfers from and back to your place of accommodation are NOT included; unless confirmed in writing as a condition of your booking.

6.3 Transfers that are included, will incur an additional fee, confirmed in writing as a condition of your booking; and are limited to the area from and including Mowbray, Observatory, Salt River, Woodstock, City Bowl, Waterfront, Sea Point, Camps Bay.

6.4 Adventure activities do NOT include refreshments.

6.5 "Peninsula Tour" and "Winelands Tour" include light refreshments, typically drinks (soft drink or fruit juice) and snacks (crisps or biltong and energy bar or fruit).

6.6 Lunch is NOT included with any of our tours and is at your own expense.

6.7 Entry fees to any destination (Kirstenbosch, Boulders Beach, Cape Point or Silvermine Reserve), museums, wine-tasting fees, or fees for the Table Mountain Cable way, are NOT included and are at your own expense, unless explicitly stated in writing as a condition of your booking.
